De Broodbode

Illustration design for Dutch restaurant chain De Broodbode in Enschede. De Broodbode commissioned a series of four vintage-inspired collage illustrations based on their product categories.
The artworks were printed on custom serving paper placed underneath each sandwich.
As the meal disappears, the illustrations slowly emerge, treating guests to a visual dessert at the end of their lunch.

De Broodbode commissioned four additional designs for gift vouchers featuring the collages. To fit the different format of the postcard-size vouchers I edited the artwork into spot illustrations and developed smaller spot illustrations for the flipside.
